We sent 27kg of our grey katmoget fleece to the Halifax Spinning Mill at Goole and after some months we recieved two big bin bags of lovely yarn in 100g hanks all a beautiful light grey. There were 87 hanks and that’s where the fun began!
Using Oak bark (peeled and chopped and steeped for three months) Onion skins, tansy, Brazilwood, madder, indigo and a combination of the above I have created 27 shades so far and more to come.
